Ace of Wands

Prompt: Jo Harvelle

Artist’s notes:

Reference materials for key symbols and meanings were taken from this website. And I realised how apt the prompt for this card is.

“The clouds deal with ambiguity, mystery, and things hidden. River symbol meanings deal with motion, direction, and the flow of our thoughts as well as our lives. The mountains deal with challenges, acquisition, accomplishment and aspirations.” – tarotteachings.com

As per the prompt, the Ace of Wands means a new spark of energy for a new passion. This usually indicates that the querent has just discovered a new religion, philosophy, cause or career choice. They feel their energy go up, they feel the heat, and they want more of it. They take up the wand and start to walk. Jo, as young as she was, decided she wanted to be a hunter. Initially, I thought Jo was being a child who thinks that hunting is all just a big adventure. However, she has promptly proved herself brave and ready and passionate about hunting the scary things, even in that first episode.

Thanks to MD for being patient with me during the border-ing of the card. :D
